Lisa Davis - Gobin has been in the music business since she was 13 years old. Too afraid to go out on stage by herself, her brother Bill Davis accompanied her and was her greatest mentor.
Born in the heart of the Ozark Mountains as Lisa Davis, Lisa started writing songs at the age of 12. Country music was the only real love she knew. Telling her high school math teacher - who was frustrated in Lisa's lack of interest in algebra- that she had no need for that junk she was never gonna use it because she was going to be a singer! Case Closed..... LOL!
God did have plans for Lisa to be a singer. But being so young she let the temptations of sin over come her better judgement which lead to mental and physical disability. Plus turbulent relationships and marriages.
But, it also lead Lisa to Jesus.
After almost loosing her life, she did lose her voice due to herniated disc surgery in her neck. It left her with out the only thing she ever really knew she had, and knew God gave it to her to use.....to use for him.....

Lisa has since gave her whole life to Jesus and sings to prepare hearts for his purpose. Lisa has a voice not just to enjoy the songs she sings, but also the voice to testify how Jesus Christ brought her voice back for his glory!
